Buying a commercial property and having it re-zoned as a religious center isn't automatic, nor should it be.<br /><br />Further, this is some of the most expensive real estate in the country. A commercial property pays taxes. A religious center likely wouldn't. City planners can legitimately debate whether the loss of tax revenue is outweighed by any "good will" a religious may bring. <br /><br />It's not just a religious issue, it's a business decision.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
